Lintels Overview and Specification
- Availability, usually just 2 to 4 working days from payment
- All heads are non-loadbearing and must be used in conjunction with a Catnic or similar steel supporting lintel
- Window heads above 1405mm length cast in 2 pieces with central joint
- Splayed Heads, Chamfered Heads and 140mm tall units also available
- Option for ex-stock collection from ST3 5BL on Commercial Vehicles; or nationwide delivery can be arranged at additional cost
- Suitable for timber frame or conventional brick and block construction
- Lintels are manufactured with through coloured cast stone mix
- Stock reconstituted sandstone supplied in Bathstone buff colour
- Additional colours produced on made to order basis (click here)
- Reproduction of lintel colour is as close as is possible within the limits of photographic technology
The plain rectangular headers listed above are STOCK items allowing fast order fulfilment and are frequently used together with our stock cast Stone Cills.
Available On Demand, there's no need to wait for the manufacture of Addstone reconstructed stone window heads. Ready off-the-shelf and always Fully Cured, we supply architectural dressings as You need them.
Manufactured in high quality Cast Stone (a fine grade of concrete with finish similar to sawn Natural Stone), our Cast Stone Lintels are used by Professional Builders, Self Builders and Developers in conjunction with our Stooled Cills and Stone Quoins.
Lintel lengths shown are overall component lengths including 102.5mm bearing at each end, so for example our 1405mm header suits a 1200mm opening. All units are non-loadbearing and must be fully supported on suitable steel lintels. Note that ALL stone headers above 1405mm length will be supplied in 2 pieces with central joint.
